Lucy Honey took and passed her class 2 driving test today at the FIRST TIME attempt.
Lucy got in touch with Truck school to gain her C1 entitlement in the hope of joining the ambulance service. She completed the medical and sent the forms off.
We didn’t hear from Lucy for a while until she wanted some advice on the theory. We sent some theory revision materials to her so she could cram in the information over just 2 days before her test. Nevertheless, Lucy passed this and we were able to get her in for training really quickly. However, we wanted her to be sure that she was doing the right thing... we got Lucy out for an assessment drive in both the C1 and the 18 tonne C vehicles. Lucy wanted to chat it over with her partner before committing to it but she ended up doing the larger C category.
Daren took Lucy out for training and Mike took her to test today.
With ONLY one driver fault, I think the ambulance service are going to get a great driver on their team!
