Angelika took and passed her class 2 driving test this morning in the Bristol Kingswood test centre.
Angelika is known to us in the office as 'Bob' (don't ask), and Bob learnt to drive out 18 tonne Renault curtainsider with Sean. This lorry has 8 gears with a split shift gear box and it does take some getting used to. However, Bob got the hang of it with relative ease.
Sean did a good job at teaching Bob but unfortunately, her nerves got the better of her on her first test. It really was a disaster!. Faults everywhere.. On the reverse. On the drive. On the stopping. On the starting. It really was quite bad. However, this was all put down to nerves and so Bob decided to have another go.
Today was quite the opposite of a 'disaster'. She did really well and apart from not driving in the 2+ lane towards the M32, there was not a lot to report on the driving. It really was quite a good result.
So, all Bob needs now is her CPC and she is now practicing towards getting her Mod 2 Case studies so that we can train for the Mod 4 at a later date.
