Andrew Stobbs is our latest success story after he took and passed his class 2 driving test at the FIRST TIME attempt this morning in Bristol.
Andrew completed our funded HGV training following the completion of a BTEC diploma in customer service. This was funded through student loans and on completion of this, Belt Up School of Motoring and Truck School funded his HGV training. We paid for Andrews medical, theory and hazard perception tests and also this week of training.
Andrew was trained this week by Anna, our female HGV trainer. They apparently had such fun on the training however, Andrew was still full of nerves this morning. A 6am start for an 8.10 test allowed us to complete the reversing exercise before we left for the test centre. A few multi laned roundabouts and then into the test centre for 8am.
Out came the examiner and they went to set out the cones for the reverse. No need for nerves.. Just ONE fault over the whole test and that was for driving 20mph in a 30mph zone.
One pass certificate and a new HGV class 2 driving licence. Well done.
