Keelan Rees-Langley from Midsomer Norton has been training with Truck School in the 18 tonne Mercedes this week.
Keelan has not only been completing his driver training, but alongside, he has been completing the Module 4 driver CPC element. This meant that at the end of each day of driver training, Keelan stayed a little longer to go through the use of dolly knots, tension bars, webbing straps and chains for load security. He has also completed the full walk around checks and his mod 4 test was booked for just after his driving element.
Carlie had done most of the training, with Sean stepping in for just one of the days.
The driving test element ended with a pass and then the pressure was mounting as we have NEVER had anyone fail at the mod 4..
We still haven't had anyone fail as Keelan passed that too, gaining full marks of 100% for the test result.
On returning to the yard, Keelan asked about job opportunities and Mike managed to set up a relaxed interview with Morris and Perry, just across the road from us. We hope the new career is what you have been looking for and we can't wait to get you back for the artic course!
