Tim Beardsmore took his class 2 test last week and passed that first time. Today, he returned to Truck School for his Mod 4 CPC training. Kate is new to trucks but she took on the training under a little supervision today. No need for either Tim or Late to be nervous as the test went with no hitches and a pass with full 100% marks!! Well done Tim and well done Kate! #Mod4CPC
Lucy Honey took and passed her class 2 driving test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. Lucy got in touch with Truck school to gain her C1 entitlement in the hope of joining the ambulance service. She completed the medical and sent the forms off. We didn’t hear from Lucy for a while until she wanted some advice on the theory. We sent some theory revision materials to her so she could cram in the information over just 2 days before her test. Nevertheless, Lucy passed this and we
Gary Haberfield took and passed his class 1 driving test today. Gary told absolutely no one about his training or his test so no one could put pressure on him. Gary completed his training with our head of truck school, mike, who has a really good pass rate. Mike did such a good job that Gary not only passed FIRST TIME, but he passed with no faults at all! Well done to both. #Lorrytraining #lorrydrivertraining #lorrydrivingcourse #HGVtraining
Andrew Kennedy came to Truck School a while ago to complete his class 2 driver training. That test was passed and so all he then needed was his CPC. After passing the module 2 case studies, we looked for availability with our trainer booking site. Today was the day for training and Andrew came with no preconceptions on what the driver CPC was about. We took the opportunity to train a trainer too in the delivery of this course and Kate ended up actually taking Andrew to test.
Well done to Wayne Barter who took and passed his class 2 test today with Truck School. Wayne went to a national broker for his class 2 training and chose to come to Truck School. We put him with our trainer, Anna, who did a fabulous job with Wayne over the 4 days of training. This morning, Anna reported that Wayne was literally going green with nerves as he was quite literally bricking it! No need to be nervous though. The examiner saw such a good job with his driving that s
Lisa Templeman came to Truck School to gain her 7.5 tonne driving licence. She runs a catering company and needs to transport cooking equipment to and from site for her catering. Lisa had the option to take her test in a 5 tonne van with another driving school. Although this seems easier, the test is exactly the same and she will be driving a lorry style vehicle anyway and so she chose Truck School. We completed 3 days of full one to one training with Lisa. She was very good
A huge congratulations to Tim Parry, who drives for Massey Wilcox as he took and passed his class 1 driving test today. This was the FIRST TIME attempt for Tim and he got over his nerves on the day. Tim said that each day, he woke up both nervous and excited at the challenge before him. Today, he took the test and showed the examiner just what he was made of. The reverse was a little shakey, but well within parameters and the uncouple and re couple was done in a different ord
Francis came to us at truck school to complete a customer service qualification, he gained a funded HGV class 2 course. Today he took his first HGV class and passed with flying colours. Well done to his trainer Mike. #FundedHGVTraining
